A record number of over 65 human service professionals from Hawaii to DC attended the Alliance Civic Engagement Training Institute, which was held Sept. 22-24 at the L'Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles, LA.
This was the second of two training institutes offered in 2009, and was hosted by Alliance member Family and Youth Counseling Agency in Lake Charles, LA. To view all the action from the Institute, check out our Facebook photo album.

A record number of 65 human service professionals attended the Alliance Civic Engagement Training Institute (CETI), which was held Sept. 22-24 at the L'Auberge du Lac Casino Resort in Lake Charles, LA.
Participants learned about incorporating successful civic engagement strategies into their organizational plans. Specific skills required to increase staff involvement and success in civic engagement activities were also identified.
