Grants

This grant is designed to provide support to organizations’ initiatives to facilitate constituent civic engagement.  A key emphasis is to provide constituents with opportunities to develop and use their authentic voices to improve the conditions of life for their families and neighborhoods.

New Voices at the Civic Table grantees will be required to hold a National Family Week community forum in order to support and help advance the overall civic engagement efforts of the organization and community.

The Alliance will grant up to 12 New Voices at the Civic Table grants in the amount of $6,000 each for one year running from April 2010 – May 2011.
