July 09 Wrap Up

Participants representing over tweny five agencies convened in Milwaukee to take part in the first Civic Engagement Training Institute of 2009.

Institute participants learned how to successfully incorporate civic engagement strategies into an organizational plan. Participants enjoyed the opportunity to network with peers, and talk with experts from the field of Civic Engagement.

Check out what attendees had to say about the July Institue.

" I feel this is a great way to inform people of the power we all have and how to make it useful for our program."

" Forget other conferences that you have attended. This one will reframe and energize you to think outside of the box and get involved on a personal and professional level to affect long term social change for your clients and communities."

" The training fired me up to get more action oriented!"

"Take full advantage of it; it was one of the most useful trainings I have been to!"
